UPG3000 Pattern Generator Upgrade Kit
The Mann/GCA 3000 was the last of the Mann pattern generators to be built around the DEC PDP-8 minicomputer. For this
upgrade kit, the original software was completely rewritten and ported to a PC. A custom ISA-bus board plugs into the
desktop PC and communicates with the pattern generator. The kit includes documentation, a custom 16-bit ISA-bus interface card,
shielded cable and software to operate, diagnose and test the pattern generator.
